Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally

Catching JordanWhat girl doesn't want to be surrounded by gorgeous jocks day in and day out? Jordan Woods isn't just surrounded by hot guys, though–she leads them as the captain and quarterback of her high school football team. They all see her as one of the guys and that's just fine. As long as she gets her athletic scholarship to a powerhouse university.
But everything she's ever worked for is threatened when Ty Green moves to her school. Not only is he an amazing QB, but he's also amazingly hot. And for the first time, Jordan's feeling vulnerable. Can she keep her head in the game while her heart's on the line?

I have a lot of feels over this book. I heard of this author before so I picked up this book at the library. SOMEONE GO HIGH-FIVE PAST ALEX. This book took my heart and did a touchdown with it. I could not have loved this book more that I already do.
If I didn't have a thing against sports of any kind, I would want to be Jordan. Alas, I will stick to just reading about her. She was this tough football player with a low tolerance of girly things. I loved the relationship she had with her team and I will totally be stealing her comebacks. Reading about Jordan finally being a teenage girl and experiencing stuff made me cry.
(I'm serious, I think like three neighborhoods heard my wails of despair.....)
Ty, I really have mixed feelings about you. I pity you but you are also the type of overbearing, controlling and jerkish boy that I spend my days avoiding. Contrary to popular belief, I do have a heart so I did feel really bad for Ty when he told Jordan about his family. Just not the boy for me.
(Thank God, says my mother. She is standing behind me while I wail over this book)
Henry, you are a god amongst high school football players and I really want one of you.  I think that realizing that he had feelings for Jordan blew my mind but made complete sense. I am all for the best friends are soul mates campaign. I just wanted to hug him, slap him and maybe clone him.
JJ and Carter are some of the best side characters EVER. They can be man-w all they want as long as they keep being stand-up protective friends. I just reallllllyyy loved them, guys.
(I want a football team now)
All in all, this book deserves a freaking Oscar and everyone should read it because I'm still crying
                                                                     5/5 stars
Peace, Love and Fangirl,
Alex
